Softwood Mouldings

Softwood architectural and decorative mouldings are used as decorative trims or to add finishing touches and final details to ceilings walls or furniture. As its name suggests softwood is less dense and easier to work than hardwoods, also as softwood trees are grow tall fast and straight mouldings can be produced at a more reasonable price than their hardwood equivalents. The finish however is generally not as good and may be more suitable for uses where the moulding is not as visible or will be painted.
